Our Services
Our training experience spans twenty years of handling, training and competency, working with close working gun dogs. We have several AKC and NAHRA Master Level dogs, a prize NAHRA dog, as well as NAVHDA prize #1 dogs. In addition to being a dog trainer, Dave Molyneaux is an AKC judge and gives training seminars nationally.
Dave’s training program starts at basic obedience through bird work and finishes with retrieve training at the owners request.
All dogs receive training at least 5 days each week, and often two sessions in a day. Most virgin-minded pups can be taught to find birds, hold their point throughout the flush, shot and fall, within 5 to 6 weeks. However, if the dog has previously received improper training and learned bad habits, it will take longer to "untrain" them and correct the problems, then properly re-train them.
Training is incomplete until the owner is also taught the commands and timing of a confident handler. Each dog is finished to suit the owner’s personality and hunting desires.

David Molyneaux
When not involved in judging AKC events, Dave is actively instructing gun dog owners on how to train their dogs, and appreciate the bond that is felt when a handler and dog become a team.
Each day, Dave holds 2-hour, one-on-one classes for all three disciplines: Pointers, Flushers and Retrievers. Group classes are held for those considering entering tests such as AKC, NAVHDA or NAHRA.
